Things They Should Teach in School

1. If you plug in your electric IFX race car track/controller and put your finger on the hot side of the socket, it will shock you.
2. If you plug in a 330 volt, 3 phase toaster oven, make sure you are not standing in water or have your finger on the hot side of the socket.
3. An 8 year old boy and his 3 speed Schwinn can fly 30 feet if given 40 yards on a gravel sloped driveway with a 10% grade and a 15 foot pile of dirt at the bottom of  the driveway.
4. Flying 30 feet on a 3 speed Schwinn causes sever head trauma, unconsciousness, and memory loss, not to mention a mangled bike.
5. When drilling through an 1/8″ aluminum thin strip of metal with a dull bit, be sure to use something to brace the back of the metal strip, besides your index finger.
6. If you drill through a 1/8″ aluminum thin strip of metal, and directly into your index finger, make sure you cut the nerves first… it doesn’t hurt as much.
7. If you get bitten by a dog that opens a 3 inch hole in your armpit, a band-aid isn’t going to do much good.
8. If you are riding your bicycle and a truck spraying DDT to kill the mosquitoes passes you, its not a good idea to ride your bicycle in the plume behind it.
9. If you build a clubhouse when you are 8 years old, be sure you wear a helmet when you enter through the doorway so you don’t get hit by a nail in the head.
10. When riding motorcycles after curfew, be sure to have an escape plan when you see the police drive by.
