ACT NOW – STOP SOPA/PIPA

The stated goal of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and its Senate counterpart, the Protect IP Act (PIPA), is to confront the sale and distribution of movies!    Because Hollywood says they need protection, we need to lose all common sense and pass NEW laws that will affect the rest of the interconnected world?
We already have laws on the books to prevent piracy problems and we certainly do not need more encroachment.   SOPA/PIPA need to be  stopped.  Call your Representative(s) and tell them to vote against passing this bill.   The internet MUST remain a place to express our voices and to innovate.

When you can possibly be sued for posting a youtTube video of a person singing a popular song, that is a little out of control.    What’s next?
